Welcome to the website of The Westchester, an historic complex of co-operative apartments in upper Northwest Washington, DC.

Built in 1931 on one of the highest points in the city, The Westchester still maintains its original grandeur both inside and out. Five buildings house over five-hundred distinctive and well-proportioned apartments ranging in size from studios to four bedrooms. The complex is surrounded by more than 10 acres of beautiful, park-like grounds, including a meticulously-maintained three-level sunken garden.

Amenities at The Westchester include a grocery store, fitness center, valet, library, hair salon, barbershop, realtor, and ample on-site parking. The complex is just a short walk from urban amenities in neighboring Glover Park, Cathedral Heights, and Georgetown.
